Come to a YMS as an observer and get the first day FREE!

Educators can observe one or more days at a YMS Academy for a small fee. Hear world expert instrumentalists and co-directors Rachael Beesley and Nicole van Bruggen teach students, demonstrate historic instruments and showcase the latest research. Observing is FREE for the first day, $25 per day after that. All observers receive an ARCO certificate of professional development. Just fill in the form below to apply.

  • Day 1 runs 12:30-3:30pm (State) or 1-4pm (National), and includes an introduction, tutorials and tutti play-through.

  • State Academy days 2-4 run 9am-3:30pm. National Academy days run 9am-4pm. They include workshops, tutorials, presentations and rehearsals. Details available on enquiry.

Please note: All observers need to be approved educators with a current Working With Children Check. Observers will be allocated an observation location by the operations manager, and must not speak or disturb any YMS activities. Please contact operations@arco.org.au with any questions.
