The Voyage of Musical Discovery series was established and designed by the Australian Romantic & Classical Orchestra and its founding artistic director and world-renowned educator, the late Richard Gill.

The second Voyage of Musical Discovery of 2023 charts the links between music , culture and narrative, from music from the early Romantic period performed by the Australian Romantic & Classical Orchestra to storytelling in new music composed by some of Australia’s most ground-breaking composers and performed by Anna McMichael and Louise Devenish.

For Students

This program is closely aligned with the Victorian secondary school music curriculum and ideal for Y10-12 students in preparation for their VCE Music, as well as being appropriate for year nine and ten music students.
